Recipe 1
Ingredients
1 apple
1 cup ripe papaya
1 cup almond milk
Ice cubes (Optional)
Procedure
1.Wash and cut the apple and papaya
2.Into the blender add the milk followed by the chopped apple and papaya
3.Blend till smooth
4.Drink immediately

Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1 date (remove seed)
1 cup almond milk (Milk of choice)
Procedure
1.Wash the banana and cut it
2.Add milk into the blender and the banana
3.Add the date
4.Blend till smooth and drink

Recipe 3
Ingredients
1 cucumber
¼ beetroot
1 cup cabbage
1 cup water
Procedure
1.Wash the ingredients
2.Chop the cucumber, cabbage and beetroot
3.Add into the blender the chopped ingredients together with water
4.Blend till smooth
5.Drink immediately

Other foods to reduce acidity include
1.Vegetables – they are low in fat and sugars and they reduce stomach acid. Eat broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers and green beans
2.Ginger – it is a natural heartburn treatment ingredient. Add it to your food and smoothies
3.Oatmeal – it is an excellent source of fiber and reduces acid reflux. East also whole grain bread and whole grain rice.
4.Non citrus fruits – eat melons, bananas, apples, pears as they are less likely to trigger acidity.
5.Lean meats – eat chicken, turkey, fish and sea food.
6.Egg whites are also good for acid reflux

What to do
1.Drink a lot of water
2.Do not overeat or overdrink
3.Avoid skipping breakfast or lunch
4.Sit upright while eating and drinking always
5.Eat 3 hours before bedtime
6.Maintain a healthy weight
