Ingredients:

1 cup boiled chickpeas
1 hard-boiled egg
A handful of lettuce
½ cup tomatoes
¼ Freshly squeezed lemon
Olive/sesame oil
Salt

Method

  1. Boil 1 egg for 8 to 10 minutes till hard.
  2. Wash the lettuce and tomatoes and keep aside.
  3. Tear or cut the lettuce and chop the tomatoes and keep in a bowl.
  4. Add the chick peas and mix.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of olive or sesame oil and salt and give it a good mix.
  6. Peel the boiled egg and cut it into 4 halves and add to the salad bowl and mix slowly. Serve immediately.
