Ingredients
1 cup chickpeas
1 can Tuna
1 cucumber
1 small red onion
1 tomato
1 yellow and green bell peppers
A handful cilantro
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt to taste
Method
- Drain the tuna from the can, dry it in the pan and keep aside.
- Chop the cucumber, bell peppers and tomato and keep them in a bowl
- Cut the red onion, and keep it in hot water with salt for 3mins. Drain it off. This is to remove the bitterness/harshness.
- Add it to the salad bowl
- Chop cilantro and add it. Mix the ingredients well.
- Add olive oil, salt and mix well
- Serve
