Ingredients

1 cup chickpeas
1 can Tuna
1 cucumber
1 small red onion
1 tomato
1 yellow and green bell peppers
A handful cilantro
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt to taste

Method
  1. Drain the tuna from the can, dry it in the pan and keep aside.
  2. Chop the cucumber, bell peppers and tomato and keep them in a bowl
  3. Cut the red onion, and keep it in hot water with salt for 3mins. Drain it off. This is to remove the bitterness/harshness.
  4. Add it to the salad bowl
  5. Chop cilantro and add it. Mix the ingredients well.
  6. Add olive oil, salt and mix well
  7. Serve
