Things That Make Your Private Part Smell And Taste Better

Men’s and women’s natural smells and tastes are part of human se*uality, and as long as you’re healthy, there’s nothing wrong with how the universe made you. Ladies, eating healthy can make everything better—including your vaginal health.

1.      EAT THE RIGHT FOODS

Did you know that vegetarians have been proven to have better-tasting secretions than meat eaters?! It’s true that what you eat affects how you taste and smell down there. According to the Kinsey Institute, fruit (especially citrus, bananas, and papayas), spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and peppermint, among others), parsley, wheatgrass, and celery up the flavor of semen. Cigarettes, caffeine, red meat, onions, and garlic make it taste worse. Some of the foods include:

Yogurt

Yogurt contains the lactobacillus bacteria, which is also naturally present in your gut, urinary tract, and vagina. According to a 2006 review published in the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, this bacteria also helps restore a healthy yeast balance in the vagina, thus preventing fungal infections. Result? A healthy gut, a healthy vagina, and no foul smell.

Cranberry juice

Many gynecologists recommend concentrated cranberry juice or whole cranberries to women suffering from urinary tract infections (UTIs). In fact, several studies like the one published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition back this claim.

The reason is fairly simple: cranberries are packed with antioxidants and powerful infection fighters. Plus, they are acidic in nature and help maintain the pH of your vagina. Now, obviously, a healthy and infection-free vagina has no reason to smell bad.

Pineapple

Pineapple is a rich source of vitamin C, vitamin B, and fibre. Not only do these nutrients improve gut health, but they also help maintain your vagina’s natural smell by keeping it healthy and preventing any infections.

Apple

The phytoestrogen phloridzin and antioxidants in apples stimulate the blood flow in your vagina, keeping it healthy and fresh. In fact, a 2014 study published on PubMed Central shows that these compounds also prevent the development of uterine fibroids and help with sexual arousal. Plus, eating apples can also increase the probability of climaxing during sex. What more do you want?

Ginger Tea

The antimicrobial properties of ginger are just what you need to promote a healthy gut, and a healthy vagina, and ward off any vaginal infections, keeping Miss Vayjayjay smelling au-naturel!

Celery

Celery is bursting with vitamin C and hence can help restore the ecology of vaginal bacteria. Moreover, the presence of chlorophyll in the salad essential helps maintain the smell of your lady bits.

2.      WAX IT

Sweat cause odors and pubic hair retains sweat. By waxing, the chance of odor caused by sweat is significantly reduced and in my opinion, a waxed va*ina is visually more appealing.

3.      AVOID HOT BATHS AND HOT TUBS

Exposing your va*ina to overly hot water can kill a lot of your body’s natural bacteria which preserves the delicate balance of your va*ina. You should avoid sitting in hot tubs with very hot water too frequently or for too long. S*x in a hot tub? Probably a bad idea.

4.      GOOD HYGIENE IS IMPORTANT

The honey pot is essentially a rich ecosystem, everything has to exist in the right balance and it is easy to upset it. If you use soap, antibacterials, use pools frequently, take hot baths, use lotion too close to the vulva, don’t change underwear often enough, use scented pads, and use underwear made out of stifling material (amongst other things) this delicate balance can be upset and cause the problem.
