White heads can be a nightmare. The most affected area is the T-zone, your nose area, forehead, cheeks and the chin area. Our skin naturally produces oil to moisture itself through pores. White heads are caused from oil or sebum that collects from blocked pores. This later causes acne or pimples. Whiteheads are closed comedones while blackheads are open comedones. If a white head is left for too long it causes acne. White heads are caused by

2.Oily cosmetics from sunscreen or makeup

White heads can also be caused by hormones, genetics, soaps, shampoo, heat, humidity among others. If you suffer from too much whiteheads, please see a dermatologist. However, the following home remedies can help you clear whiteheads.

1.Tea tree oil
Take few drops and add to your face cream and use daily for 2 weeks.
2.Aloe vera
Apply aloe vera to your clean cleansed face daily. Also, you can add it to your masks or creams for long term benefits.
3.Make a scrub using oatmeal, honey, sugar and lemon
On your clean cleansed face, scrub up to 2 minutes. Repeat this once every week for long term benefits.
4.Baking soda and water/ apple cider vinegar
Take 1 teaspoon of baking soda, add some water or ACV drops to make a paste. Rub gently on your clean cleansed face for 1 minute. Rinse with warm water and apply moisturizer. Repeat this 2 times weekly for best results.
5.Neem leaves and turmeric paste
Take 1 teaspoon of neem leaves, add turmeric powder and make a paste. Apply on your clean cleansed face and leave for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Do this three times every week.
6.Tea bags
Wet a tea bag and place it on the infected area for 10 to 15minutes. Rinse and pat dry. Do this three times weekly.
7.Egg white
Take the white part of an egg, apply on a clean cleansed face and leave it to dry, up to 20minutes. Rinse and moisturize. Do this daily for best results.

8.Apple cider vinegar
You can use it as a toner or add it to your masks.
9.Bentonite clay
Take a teaspoon of bentonite clay. Add 1 teaspoon of honey nd some water to make a mask. Apply to a clean cleansed face and leave it to dry. Rinse and apply moisturizer. Repeat this 3 times weekly for best results.
10.Rose water and lemon juice
Take 1 tablespoon of rose water and add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply on face and leave it to dry for 10minutes. Do this 3 times weekly. Stop if irritation occurs.
11.Oatmeal scrub
Take oatmeal and grind it to powder. Take 1 teaspoon of oatmeal and add some rosewater to make a paste. Alternatively, you can add lemon instead of rose water. Scrub your clean face for 1 minute. Let it dry for 20minutes. Rinse and moisturize. Repeat this 3 times weekly for better results.
12.Garlic, water and rose water
Take one clove of raw garlic, crush it. Add few drops of water and rose water. Apply on the area, leave for 5 minutes and rinse dry. Repeat this 3 times weekly.
13.Fenugreek leaves and water
Take the fenugreek leaves and crush them. Add some water to make a paste. Apply on the area and leave it to fry for 15 minutes. Rinse and moisturize. Repeat this three times weekly for best results.
